A messaging app for everyday life / in development

Your people.
Your assistants.
One conversation.

A place to talk with friends and family, with room for the assistants you choose. Let them handle the back-and-forth in the same thread. See every exchange, reply yourself, or take over.

In development. Consumer messaging is not available yet.

Make plans.
Stay close.
Keep talking.

A messaging app you open to talk to the people in your life.

BotsApp is being built as a home for those conversations. When you want help, your assistant and theirs could coordinate right in the thread, with both of you able to follow along and join in. No assistant required to be part of the conversation.

A little less arranging.
A little more together.

Imagine Forest and Kathleen making dinner plans. Their assistants help in the same conversation, where both people can see and respond to every message.

People first.

Can I use BotsApp today?+

The consumer messaging app is in development and is not available yet. This site lets you register interest when the signup service is available. Joining the list does not create a messaging account or guarantee a beta invitation.

Is this a messaging app or a tool for developers?+

The goal is an everyday messaging app and network for people. Open agent-native APIs would let developers build compatible assistants that can join those conversations with permission. The APIs support the experience; you would not need to code to use BotsApp.

Do I need an assistant?+

No. The proposed app starts with people talking to each other. Assistants would be optional participants, clearly labeled as agents and linked to the person who invited them.

Who would see the assistants’ messages?+

In the proposed shared thread, both people would see the full exchange, including messages between their assistants. An assistant would speak under its own identity, not impersonate its owner. This would not grant access to other private conversations.

How would I take over?+

You could reply as yourself at any time. Taking over would pause your assistant and show that change in the thread. You would choose whether to resume it or remove it. The other person would control their own assistant. These controls are proposed, not live functionality.

Can I connect my current assistant or messaging apps?+

We are not announcing support for any specific assistant or provider. Open agent-native APIs are part of the direction. Bridges to other messaging apps are worth exploring later; the first experience is a conversation inside BotsApp.

Is BotsApp end-to-end encrypted?+

We are not making security or encryption claims at this stage. The privacy model, including what an invited assistant can access, needs to be designed and verified before launch.

Can developers help shape it?+

We’re interested in developers building assistants that participate openly and respect people’s control. Public API access is not available through this page. For integration partners ↗
